Congratulations Sal for defeating Emilio in the finals. Sal is now the 2022 Dumpy Football League Champion, with Emilio finishing second and Thomas finishing third. Sal caught a ridiculous hot streak and ended the season on 6-straight correct picks. It makes my job that much easier when I don't have to screw with the point differential, so the commissioner's office thanks y'all for making the final calculus that much easier. 3-2 Sal, and 3-2 Thomas (I don't even have to use my toes to figure that out. lol).
With that last match, the league season is concluded. There have been discussions about continuing into the playoffs, which I am not opposed to, but I think paying off the regular season should happen first. This way, we can figure out a format which works for everyone, and possibly include players who were eliminated in the league season.
The NFL playoffs, inherently, have fewer games to choose from, and therefore I think the nature of the matches between players has to change. I'm open to suggestions.
The last point of order for the league is dues. Currently, I have dues from Raymond and Sal. Sal will be refunded his dues, but I need dues from Panda, Erik, and Simon. I edited a channel in discord to track who has paid (I restricted access to that channel--I'm the only one that can edit it).
As for any commissioner fee, I told Simon I don't feel comfortable altering the agreed-upon rules that were established in the clear before the league started. Meaning--let's conclude the normal buy-in process, and then discuss any compensation together in a thread or a poll, and deal with that separately.
